Fair and Conference Sales Manager
CEO Company is always looking for co-operators for the position of Fair and Conference Sales Management. The right person for this position will be in charge of selling stands and spaces to the most important companies in the sector, helping this way the participants to achieve the highest outcome from the fair.
We are looking for co-operators with higher education with a minimum 1 year experience in the sales sector. Experience in the media sector, fairs or similar is preferred; possessing of very good and high level negotiation skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks, will be of great success for the incumbent. Co-operators interested to be a part of our company must be literate in of the following languages English, German, Italian, Spanish or French. Knowledge of any other language is favourable.
Primary duties and responsibilities
Responsible for electronic and written correspondence, phone calls as well as meetings as a means of linking and extending agreements with clients/exhibitors to the fairs and events organized by CEO;
Establish and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers/exhibitors;
Keep precise records of conversations with each client/exhibitor in all areas listed in the streak system;
Update the company’s database in the streak system and introduce every new customer into the system according to the requirements;
Call, send sms and coordinate visitors and other participants at a fair or conference;
Maintain and adhere to the calendar of fair and conference organization.
Delegate tasks to colleagues, as appropriate;
Visit fairs, meet business organizers and other professionals to organize, promote and discuss our services of fair/conferences organization;
Invoice the services, after the agreement has been concluded;
Solicit and draft lists for potential exhibitors, upon request.
At the shortest term possible, develop the following skills:
Ability to convey client needs and solve problems independently (informing and transmitting the message in the clearest way about the event to which he/she is invited, sending of invitations and offer, proposing of space within the hall and sending an invoice);
Ability to set and meet objectives;
Ability to identify and develop client accounts;
Ability to work independently (in planning and managing duties as well as handling customers)
Ability to read, analyse and interpret general business materials, professional journals, or government regulations;
Ability to draft reports, business correspondence, procedural manuals, proposals/offers
Ability to carry out calculation of payments, deductions, interests and commissions
Ability to use mathematical knowledge to understand financial concepts, budgets and monetary leaks
